This is my 2nd Panasonic Viera LCD TV. I recently bought the 50″ Viera LCD for my living room about 6 months ago and must say I am very impressed by the quality. I decided to get this 32″ for my bedroom and it was a no-brainer considering I have no problems with the 50″ in my living room. The quality is top notch and very easy set-up. The HD picture is incredibly crisp and clear with no problems whatsoever. If you are shopping around, I dont know if you can find one as good as this one, in my opinion. I never had a plasma type TV but I cant imagine the quality of those would be any better then this Panasonic LCD.

I purchased my second one of these units from Amazon less than a month ago. The picture quality is excellent! This TV was rated 3rd in the top 3 in this class by Consumer Reports Magazine not too long ago. The two higher rated brands were both hundreds of dollars more expensive . I have seen their picture quality on display in electronic stores and I personally didn’t think they were that much better to be worth the extra cash.I can’t imagine a similar LCD TV producing a high definition picture that could be noticably superior than the one this model produces. I found the input connectors quite sufficient for my needs. In my living room I have this unit connected to a DVD Player, a Roku wifi receiver for streaming Netflix movies and a Verizon Fios High definition digital receiver. They are all using HDMI connecting wires so there is absolutly no clutter behind the TV. I have an optical cable connecting this TV to my Yamaha surround sound receiver. The TV speaker’s sound is as good as you can expect from a flat screen because the speakers in all these models have to be small to keep the TV’s dimemsions as narrow as possible. If you are not happy with the level of audio quality from the TV speakers you probably are the type of person who is going to hook this TV up to a surround AV receiver so this will not be an issue that is a deal breaker.

For it’s price there is nothing better….period.

I KNEW [...] GAVE A VERY GOOD RATING .. I WAS IMPRESSED BY THE TC-L32S1 .. (MY LAST PURCHASE WAS THE SAMSUNG LN- 4053H HDTV .. )I USE COMCAST CABLE FROM THE WALL TO SET .. (NO BOXES)I WAS VERY PLEASED W/ SD DISPLAYED OVER TC-L32S1 LCD HDTV .. I’M STILL VERY SORE FROM THE SAMSUNG BD-P 1200 FAILURE AFTER A FIREWARE UPGRADE FROM SAMSUNG ..(RENDERING MY $500.PLAYER NON-OPERATIONAL) >> (( IF PANASONIC IS UP TO JOB , IT SEEMS THAT IT’S SKILLFUL ENOUNGH TO MAKE SAMSUNG #2. )) << SAMSUNG COULD NOT OF BEEN OUTDONE BY HITLER IF HE HAD DIRECTED EARLY Blu-ray CAMPAIGN PLAYER TO UNSUSPECTING CONSUMERS .. I bought this tv for my bedroom. It is very dark for starters. My old non panel tv use to light up my room and have great color. This one has very dim and dull color. The sound is truly what bothers me the most. With no sound in my room you have to turn it up to 40 to hear it and then it still isn’t clear when the people talk softly on tv. I truly expected this tv to be as good as the 50″ I bought but it is not. It is my first LED display tv so maybe it is normal. I do not recommend this tv.

Just bought this from Amazon…wanted to put it on an existing wall mount…missing screws needed to do so..were not in Panasonic box…do not know if oversight on their part, or intentional so you have to buy their brand? So, have not turned it on as of yet..
